Full story: www.scientificblogging.com

A So how much Earth's climate will warm due to carbon emissions is open to speculation but a new study this week suggests scientists' best predictions about global warming are likely incorrect.

Uh oh, these climate scientists aren't going to get on the IPCC talking like that.

Skepticism is good as long as the skeptics aren't "earth is 6000 years old" kooks or drug addict, Rush L., listeners.

The climate scientists would likely agree. Research scientists already know there are answers they don't have. That's why they are research scientists.

Science isn't about final answers. Science is about progressively better answers.

Agreed, though that means only about 5 people in climate have been doing science for the last 15 years.

That could also mean more than 5 research scientists doing climate science for the last 15 years, right?

It doesn't matter how many scientists are earning their bread from climate science, they're all groping in the dark.
Climate science is still at the crawling stage of development, that is indisputable.

Absolutely, and the day may dawn when climate science comes out of the stone age.

This news has been ignored by warmists, are they frightened it may be too near to the truth?
Many sceptics have claimed for a long time that climate models are full of GIGO.
"In a nutshell, theoretical models cannot explain what we observe in the geological record," said oceanographer Gerald Dickens, a co-author of the study and professor of Earth science at Rice University. "There appears to be something fundamentally wrong with the way temperature and carbon are linked in climate models."

Just saying.. from BBC news..Three solutions are offered in UK for the next 10 to 20 years to "buy the world time, but in the long term it is vital to reduce emissions:"

(1) artificial tree to remove "thousands of times more carbon dioxide" than an equivalent sized real tree.

(2) algae photobioreactor to remove carbon dioxide "during photosynthesis."

(3) reflective building roof to reflect "sunlight back into space."

Also:

"Climate change is real. It is happening now," said Dr. Lubchenco.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Libra

If someone owes you money and you're beginning to think that you'll never get it back, this is an excellent day to chase them up. They may not cave in straightaway but at least you'll have had your say and done what you can. Watch out for a tendency to lose your temper, because although this could be quite dramatic if you're usually the soul of equanimity it could work against you if you become aggressive or unpleasant.
