On a summer night in 2008 when anything seemed possible, Kyla Ross, then 11, and 12-year-olds McKayla Maroney and Charlotte Drury, teammates and best friends from almost the minute they met in the gym, watched the Olympic Games women's all-around gymnastics competition on the Drury's living room floor before giving into their own Olympic dreams.
