Still no arrests in Servando hazing

No arrests have been made in the death of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde student Guillo Servando during initiation rites of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity last June 28, but the Department of Justice said yesterday it is prioritizing the case.

Nalzaro: Stiffer penalties against hazing

In view of the numerous deaths during fraternity initiation rites, the latest of which was that of Guillo Servando, a student of De La Salle University-College of St. Benilde who died in the hands of his Tau Gamma Phi initiators, Valenzuela Rep. Sherwin Gatchalian filed House Bill 4714, which imposes stiffer penalties for those involved in hazing.
