King Timmy has time to address issues before some Republi-thug group. However, he does not have time to attend an economic summit in the state that is paying his salary?

He should come home and work his current job, or be man enough to stop cheating us and step down from office.

I which he spent as much time on some of Minnesota's issues . I guess since he is a lame duck Governor with higher political aspirations the people of Mn. shouldn't expect him to help fix the problems he helped create . I suppose he knows he won't win this state in a Presidential election anyways so why bother.

Only the Pioneer Press is mentioning Pawlenty for 2012. Fact is, he doesn't even rate in the top six prospects. What's darker than a dark horse?

Pawlenty has no background or expertise in health care policy, except that he gets his own insurance from the big, bad government. Blind leading the blind again.

Oh he has pawlenty of experience with health care. He knows very well how to slash it and make even more people uninsured.

It's not just the Pioneer Press. The Strib is also all a-twitter at the prospect of his candidacy. Their coverage sounds like it came out of one of those tween-girl fan magazines ("He's just the cutest Governor EV-er!!!!")

I have a real job with very expensive health insurance. This is still a problem for me and others. You will have a problem with your insurance too soon if nothing is done. But of course we cannot do anything until affects you personally can we? You repubs are so blind to reality you cannot see what is happening around you until it hits your pocketbook.

Who mentioned the DFL?

Watch some more TV. Maybe you can learn a few more catch-phrases.

What a party android! He toes the party line so well he looks silly. Like the Presidential address to school kids, he couldn't muster the courage and say..."Ya,a great idea the President telling the kids to stay in school and be the best you can be". Instead Palenty inserted politics. You can still be a loyal Conservative and still acknowledge what's fair, proper, and appropriate. I'm a Liberal but I still admire some Republicans, Like Arnie Carlson and Elmer L. Anderson.

Shouldn't you get back to work? You spend an awful lot of time on these forums. Is your employer OK with this?

Oh and by the way, the summit Irish was referring to was the Pogostickey/Keelhauler summit, seems DFL to me.

I'll never vote for Palenty, but here's some advice. Most voters identify themselves as Democrats, and also there is a large independant block of voters. So to be sucessful Palenty needs to move toward the middle, or to the left of the republican party. Don't move in lockstep with others of his party. Be more independant! If a democrat says the sky is blue, it's ok to agree and say...your right, it is blue.

Until this past election season I would have included Coleman to that list too. But as they keep going more and more to the Rush side of their party, we may lose all ability to respectfully communicate with any of them.

That's right, pawlenty has no obligation to do the business of Minnesota if it involves the elected democrats of Minnesota? IT IS HIS JOB! HE IS NOT DOING HIS JOB! He needs to resign and donate his salary back to the health care he slashed from Minnesota. Typical republican trash.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aries

A certain person is being very feisty and fiery today. You may also suspect that they're looking for an argument and will provoke you until you rise to the bait. Trigger points include shared finances, sex and any topic that is currently supposed to be off-limits. You'll probably discover that you want to clear the air, but don't get carried away.
