NM Gov. Richardson plans Cape Cod vacation

Hold up there gov, whose paying for this vacation of yours, us taxpayers or your personal funds?

Now more important is what's wrong with a New Mexico vacation?

Land of Enchantment, right so surely you can find places here you have never been to to vacation in.

Oh I almost forgot, you seem to be on vacation 320 days a year, all except when our part time reps show up at the Round House.

Let him pay his own way.

why am I not surprised, by the way am I paying for this vacation too..and if we are, can we go?? huh fat bill?

It cost NM taxpayers a bundle for his trip to Rome (see Abq Journal article last week) and this one won't be cheap either. Seems he spends more time out of state than in. After next year, he'll be hard pressed to afford such extravagance on his own.

Don't worry Red Light revenue is way up. Plenty of cash for all the leadership in New Mexico to partay!

How much does it cost to drag his whole security detail to the other side of the country? for a pvt vacation? I suppose they will pay for their airfare food hotels, etc etc, I would bet 20,000?

That's about right I suspect given that it'll be more than 2 days and more security people.

I like the Cape. Believe it or not, one time long ago I drank a beer there with James Taylor.

I'd travel a lot too if taxpayers would foot the bill. Thanks Bill for letting us do this; I enjoy working while you jetset around.

Hope his travel office screwed up and only purchased a one-way ticket. Wonder if he'll have to pay for two airplane seats due to his enchilada, taco and

While Bill Richardson heads to Cape Cod all these municipal and magistrate judges are letting the drunk drivers go free, and while he is vacationing Salvadoran gangs are killin people in the midst of robberies, imagine that?
