Hold up there gov, whose paying for this vacation of yours, us taxpayers or your personal funds?

Now more important is what's wrong with a New Mexico vacation?

Land of Enchantment, right so surely you can find places here you have never been to to vacation in.

Oh I almost forgot, you seem to be on vacation 320 days a year, all except when our part time reps show up at the Round House.

It cost NM taxpayers a bundle for his trip to Rome (see Abq Journal article last week) and this one won't be cheap either. Seems he spends more time out of state than in. After next year, he'll be hard pressed to afford such extravagance on his own.

Sure he will CD, he has robbed us taxpayers blind while in office and will have plenty of money left for such extravagance after he is finally booted out.

How much does it cost to drag his whole security detail to the other side of the country? for a pvt vacation? I suppose they will pay for their airfare food hotels, etc etc, I would bet 20,000?

That's about right I suspect given that it'll be more than 2 days and more security people.

"Gov. Bill Richardson's trip to Rome to be recognized for signing a repeal of New Mexico's death penalty cost taxpayers about $13,000.
The price tag for travel and two days' worth of events in Rome for the governor and two aides was $13,576.25, to be exact, according to the Governor's Office."

Well, actually, I imagine he will pay his way. Rome was not technically a vacation.

I like the Cape. Believe it or not, one time long ago I drank a beer there with James Taylor.

Do ya think I might persuade the Richardsons to take me along?

I bet they're gonna visit Teddy Kennedy and Caroline.

I'd travel a lot too if taxpayers would foot the bill. Thanks Bill for letting us do this; I enjoy working while you jetset around.

Hope his travel office screwed up and only purchased a one-way ticket. Wonder if he'll have to pay for two airplane seats due to his enchilada, taco and
coors heavy diet.

Maybe he'll stay on Martha's Vineyard and jam with Sweet Baby James.

Maybe the prez will show up and enlist our guv to show his diplomatic chops, Hillary and her elbow, y'know...

There will be fireworks on the 4th over the ocean, and corn on the cob and lobster and blueberry pie,
ooooh, take me along, Bill....
