Wow! I can start my own company selling on line medication. Sorry no weeds. If you get sick from these drugs then you know who to sue.
Now how come we can do it locally but we no can do it nationally? Is there a reason? Oh I forgot, our politicians in washington gets candies from pharmaceutical (lobies) comapanies but locally its the democratic vs Lingle.

ReReform
|
This is a good way to undo the "non-negotiation" clause Republicans in D.C. put into the prescription drug bill which inflates drug prices for seniors.
Next, hopefully the legislature can look at a State Court "reorganization" law to specifically circumvent the Bankruptcy Reform that locks people into disasterous medical bills and usurious credit card rates. Set a top interest rate by State law and allow people the opportunity to reorganize in State Court (perhaps via mediation)as an option for avoiding the Bankruptcy "reforms."
I believe a law exists similar to this already on the books, but I don't know if it specifically targets the "Reform" law. Maybe some local lawyers can chime in on this? It's my understanding Congress is looking at reforms but the credit card companies are mounting opposition to it.

Every human being should be able to get the medications that they need. If it really costs that much to produce something, then why is it available from the UK for less?
BTW, I do NOT support bringing in medications from India or China. I don't trust ANYTHING that is made in China, India is not far behind. But let's not impede bringing in drugs from countries that have a handle on quality control.

Funny how the majority of the overseas drugs are manufactured by the same companies in the US, made by their foreign subsidary, staffed by their trained people. Somehow they are ok for the people in those countries to consume but not for Americans. Oh, I forgot, they can charge us many times more for the exact same drug. Silly me, I thought they were really concerned for our safety. Drug companies are so full of shibai!!!

Big drug companies are more concerned about the bottom line and shareholders than patients health. They have politicians and regulating authorities (FDA)in their pockets!
That being said, it's wonderful to have an affordable alternative as long as some kind of quality control is applied. I too would probably think twice before buying anything from China or India.

Hallelujah:
Finally the government minus the Governor has finally come to its senses and decided to help out the local folks who need help financially for overpriced and overcharged drugs. It is finally time to tell the greedy drug lords that they've been bleeding the people for so long and getting "Fat" for so long on the backs of people that it is time for them to say Bye Bye and close down their greedy money driven factories. Yeah and Good Job for our state legislators. Finally!!!

Generics have been available for years, but even drugs sold as generic must meet FDA approval. Some of the powerful prescription medicines also require periodic monitoring for serious side effects.
Quality control means a dosage may have too much or too little active ingredients. There is a lot of variation in one lot.
