House hands Bush first override
“It is very hard for me to understand how President Bush can spend $600 billion on his never-ending war and yet veto $23 billion on needed water projects”
For the first time in President Bush's two terms, the House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to override his veto, in this case of a $23 billion water resources bill. via News Observer
