Gunman Robs Carmel Valley Bank

A gun-toting thief in a surgical mask robbed a Carmel Valley bank Friday. The bandit, who appeared to be in his late 40s, handed a demand note to a teller at the Bank of America branch in the 11100 block of East Ocean Air Drive shortly before 11 a.m., according to San Diego police.
