RIYADH: An unknown driver crashed into a car driven by a US resident in Saudi Arabia's northern Tabuk region and then fired on his vehicle but left him unharmed, police said.

"We have heard that tents and food have been distributed among the victims but we are still waiting for aid," complains, Abdul Wahab, resident of Mashkail town who found his house demolished by the earthquake, adding that there should be proper distribution of relief items instead of distributing them randomly.

Saudi authorities executed on Friday a Pakistani man convicted of rape and murder, in the northwestern town of Tabuk, the interior ministry said.
