Goddard school district voters on Tuesday supported a school bond issue, but Renwick voters were divided about projects in their district.

The Goddard bond issue, $83.7 million, passed with 1,660 'yes' votes to 1,122 'no' votes, according to unofficial results released Tuesday night. Sedgwick County Elections Commissioner Bill Gale said results will not be official until Friday, when county commissioners review 59 provisional ballots.

The money will build new elementary, middle and high schools and sports facilities to serve them. Read more
