Why should Germany fear Iran? Did Germany do something nasty to Iran? It's the US that fears Iran because the CIA tried to overthrow the Iranian government. Germany has a clear conscience! It's utterly bizarre for Germany to now take on the US's burden of "fear" just to make the Americans happy! What does Germany gain?
