Police searching for man who set fire to north St. Louis church
Police told News 4 surveillance video captured a man who set fire to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in north St. Louis Saturday. Authorities said the man set fire to the church, which is located in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue, around 6:15 a.m. Saturday.

Despite Ashya's parents being devout Jevovah's witnesses, 51-year-old father Brett King says that when it comes to a straight choice, his son comes before his religion Ashya King's dad has vowed to let the five-year-old brain cancer victim have a blood transfusion if needed - despite it being against his religion. Brett and wife Naghmeh are devout Jehovah's Witnesses who have brought up their seven A children in the faith, which says it is a sin to accept a blood transfusion.

Lillian Gobitas Klose, who as a school-age member of the Jehovah's Witnesses refused to salute the U.S. flag with her classmates, a controversial act of conscience that set off a legal tug-of-war in the 1930s and '40s that ultimately bolstered the First Amendment right to religious expression, died Aug. 22 in Fayetteville, Ga. She was 90. Mrs. Klose was 11 in the autumn of 1935, when she began a new school year in the coal town of Minersville, Pa., where her parents, both members of the Jehovah's Witness faith, ran a grocery story.
