If TEC is so inclusive, why have 4 dioceses left it to return to Anglicanism?

Odd how the more "inclusive" TEC becomes, the smaller it becomes.

What ever it take to make the Church...sometimes the recipe needs to lose the bitter elements to be made sweet.

Then by defintion, TEC is NOT inclusive: instead, TEC has become "selective".

All religions are selective. They all have a certain set of beliefs, and if you agree....you join. I would never join a Southern Baptist church because I do not share thier beliefs. I would join a TEC church because I share their interpretation of God's word. Religion is all about CHOICE. In this country, you can even choose not to have one at all.(GASP!!)

But we're discussing those who were ALREADY members of TEC and left it after PB Schori's version of "inclusion" kicked in, not those thinking of joining.

You're not a member PERIOD.

AND it wasn't after a WOMAN became PB, it was back in the 70's when the first woman (already women preeists in other countries) in the USA was ordained.

BOOHOO, women are life givers or do romans still ignore that little fact.

Thank GOD for my Jewish roots where we appreciate women.......

And yet YOU are the one who cannot point out one 'JUDEO' aspect of your brand of 'Christianity'.

Romans have always hated Jews (including Jesus and his followers)....

It seems to me that if someone leaves of their own accord you can hardly accuse the place they left as being non-inclusive. They could have stayed if they wanted to.

Happy New Year Gemini! I hope you had a great night and I'm sure you can find a great hangover cure somewhere on the Net! You'll be able to learn a lot this year if you keep an open mind and discuss your opinions with more enlightened individuals.
