Sex lessons must start at age five

Total losers. They should be banned from education decisions altogether.

It's worked for Japan. They start their sex education at 5, and they have one of the lowest teen pregnancy rates in the world.

And they have more people than their volcanic island can handle..........

I Don't know,, I think that 5 years is a little too old..

I'm not sure what the right age is,, but 5 is a bit young.. Maybe in the 7th-8th grade...

Or is that too late already??

Wrong, their population density is only slightly higher than England's, and they have almost no starving or poor people compared to the U.S.

Im old school. The parents teach the children about sex, not some demented teachers who have been known to get it on with children of all ages. Father (and mother) know best. Keep out of our kids pants and teach them math and everything else they are supposed to learn. The sexual values of generation zero are self explanator.

in theory I can see how it sounds like a good idea...
The main problem is that children are very curious, and been taught about this at a young age will encourage them to explore further with each other, which (even though it will probably be done safely considering the education) is illigal and dangerous, and i am very sure its not the idea the school wants to get across

This education belongs in the home; even looking at the school as a means for education, this is far too young.

We start too late, we don't teach how to use birth control, and after they're done with the class the students still can't tell you how a birth control pill works because all the school taught them was "abstinence-only".

It's pathetic.

Not in our state! The only thing that curbed the teenage pregancy rates here was more restrictive welfare laws! As soon as there was NO $ long term for Baby....girls stopped getting pregnant. We've had birth control training in this State since the late 1960's..........the teaching of abstinence doesn't even happen in this state.

Perhaps to avoid the pathetic we could make parents financially responsible for any grandchild concieved by a son or daughter? Seems stupid at first, but I wonder how many families would take the responsiblity to educate their own children accordingly?

Scott land is coming on board to the UN Citizenship program before others, but it is not the first, nor the last Nation to do so. The NEA supports this as well. Washington State just approved this same package. Haven't heard that on the news, eh?
