Terri Rutherford, owner of RE/MAX Fine Homes in Spring Hill, expanded her management team to include RE/MAX International Hall of Famer Cynthia Beard as Managing Broker of RE/MAX Fine Homes in Spring Hill and award-winning real estate agent Michelle Sampson as head of the Commercial Division for both the Spring Hill and Brentwood locations. This year may mark its 150th anniversary, but 2014 has proven to be a significant period for First Tennessee Bank for reasons beyond the celebration of a milestone birthday. In contrast to the doldrums of the lean years, when the bank jettisoned its national mortgage operation, reverted to its core businesses and scaled down its headcount, the Memphis-based bank has spent much of this year doing the opposite. An email sent by a Milpitas city council candidate has come under fire for what a termed-out city councilman took to de a death threat, after the words "lifeless or in prison" came up in the email. San Jose Inside reports the email sent by Rajeev Madnawat was sent to Armando Gomez, largely to express his criticism of Gomez forming a political action committee funded by developers to help real estate agent Deepak Lalwani and and daycare provider Marsha Grilli in their runs for city council. EDINBURGH recorded one of the highest levels of million pound home sales outside of the south of England in the first half of this year - but Scotland still saw a significantly lower rise in the number of million-plus properties than anywhere else in the UK.
