Gene Szpeinski, an associate broker with Signature Associates' Grand Rapids office, will be sworn in as 2015 president of Michigan Realtors on Wednesday, Oct. 1. Szpeinski, whose term as president will begin on Jan. 1, 2015, also has been named "Realtor of the Year" by the Commercial Board of Realtors , according to a press release issued Tuesday, Sept. 30. Michigan Realtors, which includes some 23,000 members of 42 local associations, is holding its annual convention in Grand Rapids from Wednesday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 3.
