Foreclosures in Rhode Island dropped in the third quarter by about 5 percent from the same period a year ago. A report released being released Thursday by the nonprofit coalition HousingWorks RI shows there were 364 foreclosure deeds in the third quarter of 2014 compared to 368 in the third quarter of 2013.
