Single-family home sales in eastern Connecticut perked right along during the third quarter of this year, but prices were in a slumber, according to the latest real estate statistics released Tuesday. Data from the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors, which covers home sales in New London and Windham counties, showed the strongest third-quarter sales numbers in the past eight years, with a 10 percent gain over the same period last year.
