I've been answering this question for a long time. Whose interests do we need to be concerned about, in a "If they are harmed, we've got a problem" sort of way? Who has a primary stake in a real estate transaction, and who does not? Whose interests must be served by said transaction? Whose interests are critical, and whose are not? I never really went into an explicit answer. Comment?

You can't be too neurotic about shredding sensitive documents to smithereens. For example, some people make a career out of "dumpster diving," digging through trash in search of bank account information, credit card preapprovals, medical bills, mortgage statements, etc., and then they commit fraud, including creating new accounts with the found information-accounts in the victim's name. Comment?

For the fourth consecutive month, pending home sales were on the rise, with contract signings climbing to the highest level since May 2006, according to the National Association of REALTORSA ' Pending Home Sales Index.
