Montana prosecutors are set to open their case against a Missoula man who shot and killed a high school exchange student from Germany inside the man's garage. Opening statements began Thursday in the murder trial of a Montana man who said he was defending his home against a prowler when he fired a shotgun into his garage, killing a 17-year-old German exchange student. WASHINGTON – Home prices in 20 U.S. cities rose at a slower pace in the 12 months through November, a sign the industry struggled to find momentum even amid low mortgage rates.
