What is all this about. Brian and his wife must have been heavy into drugs and is afraid it can be used against him in the Mayfield case. I wouldn't be surprised if they paid for many legal discretions to be swept under the rug. Geragos is a good lawyer and Brian sounds worried.

France is so sleazy, I hope Mayfield owns NASCAR when this thing is over.

Sounds like a simple matter of stopping something completely irrelevant to Mayfield's case from becoming a part of this whole debacle. This is a matter of Mayfield vs. Nascar, not a matter of Mayfield vs. France. I fully expect that France's ex will never become a part of this thing. Any Judge who doesn't stop this is a complete media grabbing moron.

Personally, I don't think he will ever get a dime out of NASCAR but the legal counsel he has been using are going to take everything he has. Jeremy is destine to work one of the off ramps on I-85 north of Charlotte. Probably somewhere around Speedway Blvd.

Who are you kidding? Jeremy is going to win, it is just a matter of how much. I do not believe he did anything other than what he said, which should be easy enough to "test" and convince a jury. While it is a separate matter, Brian and the Frances have their own problems! L8R. DD.

this is the ONLY thing interesting about the round-and-round borefest known as NA$CRAP. I sure hope Mayfield is clean and that he destroys the inbred group of hicks that runs this debacle.

Then, my little man, the next question would be, why would one of your obvious learned and intelligent position be on a NASCAR thread. By the way, is Arnold having any more interesting California Yard Sales, where anything and everything in the state is for sale so that he can make payroll this month?

Brian France is a fat drunkin bum that probably has done drugs himself. His dirty feet should be held to the coals......

Its none of Jeremy's business what the France family does! The France family doesn't work for Jeremy and they don't drive race cars endangering peoples lives and careers while or if using. It is irrevelvant to the case! Jeremy just wants to drag others thru the dirt like he did himself and his family. Typical addict behavior. Its always someone elses fault, not theirs.

I've tried my best to follow this saga from the UK over the past several months and I'll admit I'm a fan of the fallen from grace Jeremy Mayfield. He is either guilty as charged and trying to dig up enough dirt on France & co to get hush money or innocent and determined to clear his name. Jeremy and Shana were featured on NASCAR.com when he was driving for Ray Evernham but when he and Ray fell out it appears that Jeremy lost all hope of ever achieving another decent Cup ride owing to the (suspected) cosy nature of the relationship between NASCAR and its established car owner group. Remember that NASCAR was going through a tough 'how do we re-invent ourselves' campaign aka rebranding and would not want a driver to be seen to be holding sway over the corporate status quo. If Jeremy comes through all this with his reputation and sanity intact it will be a testimonial to his strength of spirit and the support of Shana. Hope you had a good Christmas Jeremy, let's hope 2010 brings you somewhat better fortune.
