in prison for injuring baby

A Newton man has been sentenced to five years in prison for causing injuries that doctors believe will result in permanent neurological damage to a 5-month-old girl.

Murder suspect transferred to prisonand#146;s medical wing

Iowa County Sheriff officials said Tonch Weldon, charged with first-degree murder, was transferred from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to the medical wing of Iowa Medical and Classification Center, 2700 Coral Ridge Ave., Coralville.
