A parole absconder from St. Louis is believed to have shot another man in a Tuesday night robbery near downtown Jefferson City, then was shot by one of his victims who acted in self-defense. A Central Missouri prison inmate has died. Bill Schmutz, deputy warden for the Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, reported Sunday that 26-year-old Romanze Damont Mosby was pronounced dead Saturday evening at the prison.
