Hey, SAM!! The money is from the transportation budget!!! What part of that word don't you understand??
Don't bring up silly street name changes and there won't be a problem!!! Read the ordinances on name changes...it is NOT allowed unless it is spelled incorrectly or two names are the same/similar enough to create confusion.
Then tell any who bring it up -NO-!!!
One little word is a hell of a lot cheaper than what you are planning.

Portland preparing for street fights
Commissioner Sam Adams, who takes over as mayor next year, has set aside $35,000 from the city's transportation budget to hire consultants to help vet any street renaming proposals.
