Family offers reward for return of pet cats
A FAMILY were left disappointed after they thought they had found one of their pet cats- only to discover the feline belonged to someone else. Louise Race and her family are desperately searching for three of their cats- Leo, Bess and George- who escaped from a cat pen in a garden in Hugenden Valley on August 15. Last Sunday they thought they had found Leo near the Harrow in Hughenden but when the cat's microchip was scanned it was discovered his name was Otis and he was reunited with his owners who had missed him for a month.

Study: Cat bites dog
A new study led by the Wildlife Conservation Society reveals that in India's human dominated agricultural landscapes, where leopards prowl at night, it's not livestock that's primarily on the menu - it is man's best friend. The study, which looked at scat samples for leopards in India's Ahmednagar's district in Maharashtra, found that 87 percent of their diet was made up of domestic animals.

The DuckTales theme song cover did not appeal to my vegan self
Oh My Disney recently remade the entire opening sequence of DuckTales using real ducks. At first glance, the video is cute, but are the visuals we see cute baby ducks at play or animals in distress? Before I go any further, I will divulge that I am vegan, which means that I don't eat or use any animal products.

Revised Bay City animal ordinance won't limit the number of pet cats
Following public outcry from local pet advocates, the Bay City Commission is set to read an amended animal ordinance that wouldn't regulate the number of cats a homeowner can keep as pets.
