Whata s the Issue? Over the past 3 years charter vessel use days in May and September have increased over 600%. During the same period the number of Commercial Use Authorization holders increased from two to six and the number of CUA vessels has also increased from 5 to 14.

Date: October 14, 2009 Contact: Jacob Ohlson, Facility Management and Safety , 907-697-2602 Starting October 23, 2009, Global Offshore Divers will begin replacement of all sacrificial anodes on the fuel dock float and pilings, the sheet pile wave barrier, and the public dock float and pilings.

Vessel Speed Restrictions Extended To Point Dundas And The Entrance To The West Arm

Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve Superintendent Cherry Payne announced today that the special whale waters area in Park waters just outside the mouth of Glacier Bay that was implemented on May 15th is being extended westward to Point Dundas to protect numerous humpback whales that have been sighted in the area.
