    Russell A. Scott, a retired truck driver and Army veteran, died May 8 of esophageal cancer at his North East home. He was 56. The son of John Norman Scott and Shirley Fike Denmeyer, Russell Alan Scott was born in Wilmington, Del., and later moved with his family to Baltimore.

    She was born March 29, 1935, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Curtis J. Roney and Ruth Pierce Roney; In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husbands, Richard W. Reinhart, Preston T. Willey and Harry B. Ash, and her grandparents, Steven G. Pierce and Joanna Walls Pierce. She and her family moved to the Lewes area in 1949 where she later graduated from Lewes High School in 1952.
