    Officials identify Larch inmate who died of apparent...

    The Larch Corrections Center center who died Saturday in what officials are describing as an apparent suicide was identified today as Jason Williams, 41. Williams was serving a five-year sentence at the corrections center after being convicted of second-degree trafficking in stolen property and second-degree burglary, according to the news release. He had served five months of that sentence at the time of his death.

    An inmate at the Clark County Jail died Sunday, two days after he suffered a medical emergency while being relocated, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office. Vancouver police arrested Mycheal J. Lynch Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle.
