    CARTHAGE – Kenneth D. Heesh, Sr., 82, 802 Parham St., died 5:15pm Thursday evening after a long battle with lung disease and heart problems at St. Luke's Hospital in Utica, where he had been a patient for a short time. Born in West Carthage on February 25, 1932, the son of George & Mary Mushtare Heesh.

    Richard E. Hopson, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Masonic Care Community in Utica, NY where he had been residing since 2007. Richard grew up on the family farm in Dolgeville and graduated from Dolgeville Central School in 1937.
