    Sturbridge - STURBRIDGE - Eileen M. Ziemba, 88, formerly of Steeple View Rd., passed away peacefully with her devoted family by her side on Monday, Feb. 23rd, in the Overlook Masonic Healthcare Center, Charlton, after an illness. Her husband of 60 years, Eugene T. Ziemba, predeceased in 2006.

    Tow driver killed in crash is remembered with truck ...

    A tow truck drove past the casket of Kevin J. St. Pierre, Jr. St. Pierre died Feb. 11 when he was sturck while loading a disabled vehicle onto his tow truck on the Mass Turnpike. SOUTHBRIDGE -- Friends, family, and an honor procession of tow truck drivers said goodbye Saturday to Kevin J. "George" St. Pierre, Jr., who died on Feb. 11 at the age of 22. St. Pierre, a tow truck driver born and raised on Southbridge, was fatally struck by a vehicle on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Auburn while loading a disabled car onto his truck, according to the Statewide Towing Association.

    Sturbridge - Sturbridge - Eileen L. Jalbert, 90, of Second St., formerly of Southbridge, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19th, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge after a long illness. Her husband, Wilfred A. Jalbert, died in 1998.

    Sturbridge - STURBRIDGE - Cynthia A. Soloperto, 65, of Sturbridge, passed away peacefully, into the arms of her Lord, on Thursday, January 29, 2015, in the quiet comfort of her home. Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of nearly forty-five years, Sergeant Gerald F. Soloperto, US Army, retired; their children, a son, Daniel P. Soloperto of Worcester; a daughter, Leah M. Soloperto of Henniker, NH; a sister, Diane M. Parker and her husband Wayne of Worcester; four brothers, Walter S. Borek, Jr. and his wife Sheila of Worcester, Michael P. Borek of Webster, NH, Richard J. Borek of Hartford, CT, and Donald J. Borek of Worcester; aunts, uncles, cousins, many nieces, and nephews.
