    Eleanor Sullivan Carrington, 96, of Spotsylvania County passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family. Eleanor was also known to her family and close friends as "Mia," a name her then-young grandson Kevin gave her that stayed with her the rest of her life.

    Joan Helen Fogg, 79, of Goochland died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at the Meadows Nursing Home in Goochland, after a courageous eight-year battle with Alzheimer's. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Y. Fogg; parents Leona Brown and Alex F. "Mac" Mackenzie and B.C. Smith; brother Alex F. Mackenzie Jr.; sister Dorthy McClead; and grandson Calvin M. Sullivan Jr. She is survived by her four children, Valerye Sullivan , Carla Yuen , Faythe Yuen and Carl G. "Bucky" Jones Jr. .
