    Wayne L. "W.W." Wright, 74, of Columbus, has gone to a new life at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with his family by his side. Mr. Wright retired as Plant Manager from Cummins Engine Company in 1998 where he worked for 37 1/2 years.

She is survived by her three daughters, Helen Bowers of Vallonia IN, Carolyn Steltenpohl Drahn of Noblesville IN and Dorothy Colvin of Middletown IN; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

    Mr. Donald E. Matzner, 77, of Seymour, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at home with his family by his side. Don graduated in the class of 1955 from Bellarmine Jefferson High School in Burbank, California then received his Associate's Degree from Pasadena City College in 1958, in Pasadena, California.

    Seymour teen who died in crash remembered for kindhe...

    Teachers, students and staff at the Jackson County Learning Center in Seymour are coping with the loss of one of their own this week. Michelle Kiewitt, 17, a Seymour High School student who was in her second year of attending classes at the learning center, died Sunday from injuries she suffered in a car wreck Saturday in the small town of Laconia in Harrison County, just north of the Indiana/Kentucky border.
