    Legacy of Hill doctors lives on in Redlands

    REDLANDS >> Four generations of the well-known and respected Hill Family were medical professionals here, working to care for the thousands that call the city their home. M.W. Hill, Howard G. Hill, Howard A. Hill and Harold M. Hill dedicated their lives to the medical profession at a time when house calls were common and a bit more personal, some would argue.

    Mary Ann Saunders, 63, of East Falmouth, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family on Jan. 7, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary Ann was born Oct. 31, 1951 at Quonset Naval Air Base in North Kingstown, RI.

    Longtime Redlands resident Anna Hollenberg died on December 20, 2014 at her home in Mount San Antonio Gardens in Claremont after a She was born in Los Angeles in December 1929 to Carl and Ruth Hoglund and raised in Alhambra. She graduated from the University of Redlands in 1951, where she met and married John Leland Hollenberg.
