    Philip Emerson Hudson

    He served 23 years in the U.S. Navy, and retired from Century Aluminum in Ravenswood after 44 years service at age 81. He took very good care of his family and will be sadly missed by all. Survivors include brother, Harlen Hudson and spouse, Betty, Princeton, W.Va.; daughter, Barbara Nelson and spouse, Michael, Princeton, W.Va.; granddaughters, Abby Sink and spouse, Brandon, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Ashleigh Burgess and spouse, Aaron, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and his beloved poodle, Holly.

    Beulah Irene Wright

    Mrs. Beulah Irene Wright, 91, of McMinnville, Tennessee, died on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at Raintree Manor in McMinnville, Tennessee. A funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel, with the Brothers John Jones and Bobby Vickers officiating.

    Vicki Sue Harmon Slaughter

    Vicki is survived by four children, Susan Baker Slade of Pulaski, Va., Amy Beth Baker of Green Acres, Fla., Katie Baker Belton of Princeton, W.Va., and Ballard R. Slaughter of Dublin, Va.; and grandchildren Steven Vestal and Nicholas Belton, both of Princeton, Jamie Slade of Pulaski and Eligh Slaughter of Draper. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Seagle Funeral Home in Pulaski.

    Roy Michael Johnson

    Born Jan. 26, 1956, in Princeton, W.Va., he was the son of the late Roy Gentry Johnson and Shirley Ann Stables Johnson. His stepfather, Jess Williams, and brothers Ronnie and Donnie Johnson also preceded him in death.
