They then went inside a courtroom and in a happy and sometimes tearful ceremony, were adopted by a 51-year-old single mom.

    Musician Jeffrey Alan Kaplan was reportedly struck by an SUV when he got out of his vehicle after it slid into a median. A memorial service for concert engineer Jeffrey Alan Kaplan, 43, of Annapolis will be held on Feb. 5 in Florida, with a celebration of life in Annapolis Feb. 9. On Jan. 7, Kaplan lost control of his car and hit a center median on Route 50, Patch previously reported.
