    Born in Orange, he lived in Clifton prior to moving to Verona in 1964. He was the chief radiologist at St. Vincent's Hospital in Montclair and then worked as eastern division sales manager for Picker Dunlee Inc. in Elmsford, New York.

    Robert E. McAndrew, 67, of Stapleton, whose careers in acting, theatrical design and production and real estate paralleled his passions for his family, cooking, gardening, old-house preservation and community activism, died Saturday at home. He earned his bachelor's degree in theater and journalism from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and continued his studies at the Lester Polakov Studio and Forum of Stage Design in Manhattan.

Born in Orange, N.J. on Jan. 14, 1944 to Alfred and Audrey Gunn, she grew up in East Orange. She resided in Cedar Grove, N.J. for 27 years before moving to Vernon, N.J. in 1977.

    William J. Leahy Sr., of Verona and formerly of Newark and East Orange, passed away April 29. He was 91. He was born and raised in East Orange, lived in Newark and recently moved to Verona 13 years ago. He worked as a computer technician for Allstate Insurance, working on IBM mainframes for many years.

    Ronald J. Mount of Millburn dies at 71.

    A memorial service for township resident Ronald J. Mount will be held Saturday, May 2, at 4 p.m. at Christ Church, 66 Highland Ave., Short Hills. Born in Phillipsburg, Mr. Mount graduated from Phillipsburg High School and Upsala College in East Orange, where he was president of the student council, president of the Pi Delta Phi Owls fraternity, and a member of the men's tennis team.

    Born Aug. 21, 1931, in East Orange, N.J., to the late David Nudelman and Peggy Gabins Nudelman, she graduated Irvington High School before moving to Maplewood, N.J. For over 20 years, she was a legal assistant, first at Nudelman and Grossman, the law firm founded by her father, and later at Nudelman, Nudelman and Ziering, the firm continued by her brother Arthur and son, Peter. She was married more than 58 years to her husband, Jerome .

    Vito F. Foti, 90, a longtime resident of East Orange and Millburn, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. Foti was a decorated WWII veteran of the Army Air Corp. He graduated from Seton Hall University and worked as a public accountant for Lieberman Bros & Drossman for over 30 years, then worked in the Paper Mill Playhouse Finance Dept.

    A Mass for township resident Carmela L. Foti will be offered Wednesday, April 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover.
