    Vito Foti, accountant, member of Bloomfield Mandolin...

    Vito F. Foti, 90, a longtime resident of East Orange and Millburn, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. Foti was a decorated WWII veteran of the Army Air Corp. He graduated from Seton Hall University and worked as a public accountant for Lieberman Bros & Drossman for over 30 years, then worked in the Paper Mill Playhouse Finance Dept.

    A Mass for township resident Carmela L. Foti will be offered Wednesday, April 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover.

    Born in Orange, he grew up in Verona and lived in Parsippany for 21 years prior to returning to Verona seven years ago. He was a professional skier and on the U.S. World Cup Ski Team starting in 1979.

    Carla F. Almeida died peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 42. Carla was born in Orange and lived in Kendall Park, where she was raised, North Brunswick and spent summers in Point Pleasant where she currently resided.
