    Local Football Legend Passes

    Rutherford County football fans are mourning the passing of Carey "Karo" Thompson. The former MTSU football player and Riverdale coach passed away Wednesday at his home at the age of 79. Thompson was a Blue Raider until an injury shortened his career.
