    Rental Industry Veteran Galen Hopper Dies

    Galen Hopper, a veteran of many years in the equipment rental industry, died last week at the age of 63. Hopper, who worked for Volvo Rents and then Rentals as manager of fleet purchasing from 2005 through 2014, was a popular and gregarious person, well-liked and well-respected in the rental industry. "Galen was a true professional and a great friend to me and the rental community," said Michael Crouch, president and chief operating officer for Acme Lift, Mesa, Ariz., who worked with Hopper for years at Volvo Rents.
