    A 17-year-old Satellite High student has died after being injured in a weekend skateboarding accident on Merritt Island, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Haley Hodge died Tuesday after being injured around 9 p.m. Saturday on Tropical Island Lane on the southern portion of Merritt Island.

Deborah Pearse, 52, was westbound on Irongate Drive about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday when she drove into the path of a southbound Nissan Altima driven by Joan Neff, 68, of Melbourne, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
