A man died Friday six days after he was accidentally shocked by a power line in west suburban Glendale Heights. Juventino Lopez, 36, was trying to remove a tree branch from overhead power lines in a backyard just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 15 when he accidentally made contact with the power lines and was shocked, according to a statement from Glendale Heights police. A personal physician to 300 Roman Catholic priests, Dr. Michael Koller urged them to take better care of themselves, saying that they put others first even more often than compassionate doctors do. Dr. Koller, 53, died at his Oak Park home on Nov. 11. He had lived for about 18 years with the effects of a carotid body tumor, a rare cancer of a nerve inside the carotid artery. Comment?
