    Charges are pending after three young men were arrested in connection to a southwestern Minnesota farmhouse fire that killed a husband and wife in their 70s. Three men ranging in age from 18 to 21 and all from that area of the state are under arrest, and charges could come as soon as Monday, the Star Tribune reported.

    The Pipestone Area baseball team earned a Big South Conference road split against the Windom Eagles Friday evening at Island Park in Windom, beating the Eagles 5-0 in the opener and dropping the nightcap 5-0. The Pipestone Area softball team defeated the Marshall Tigers 5-0 in a Big South tilt Friday in Marshall.
