    Wayne C. Knight

    Wayne C. Knight, 82, of Mattapoisett died February 9, 2015 at Tobey Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Sylvia A. Knight with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.  Born and raised in Rochester, the son of the late Kenneth W. and Addie A. Knight, he lived in Mattapoisett most of his life.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

    Richard Woods Carr, 90

    Richard Woods Carr, 90, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, June Carr.  Mr. Carr was employed for 25 years by FMC Corp. as a District Manager moving many times during his career before retiring and returning to Marion and Rochester.

She is survived by her grandchildren, William Alden III and his wife, Derilyn, of Sterling, Kim Brookins and her husband, Donald, of Virginia, Kelley Alden of Clinton and Daniel Crowley, David Crowley, and Dawn Crowley, all of Ohio; great-grandchildren, William and Tara Martin, Donald and Nicholas Brookins and Lindsay Crowley; her sister, Shirley Haynes of Bolton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
