    Agency on Aging to honor Pat Bell

    In December 2014, the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas Inc., established a special award in memory of a long-time aging advocate, Patricia J. Bell of Largo who passed away in September 2014. Bell had a 35-year career with the state of Florida, almost entirely specializing in aging and adult services.

    Man arrested in wrong-way Christmas eve crash that k...

    Authorities have arrested the man they say was drunk and driving the wrong way in Seminole early Christmas morning when he collided with another vehicle, killing three people. Paul Edward Pulkownik, 51, was arrested Monday afternoon at his Largo home and charged with three counts of DUI manslaughter, three counts of vehicular homicide and one count of misdemeanor DUI with property damage.

    Tracey J. Hunt, Jr., age 83, of Amsterdam passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility, Amsterdam. He was born on December 26, 1931 in the Town of Johnstown, a son of the late Tracy K. and Blanche Groves Hunt, Sr. Mr. Hunt attended Gloversville High School and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
