My husband died this year from complications of a bone marrow transplant he had to treat a rare aggressive cancer called Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm. He was a cancer researcher and a wonderful husband. Comment?

Marvin L. "Murph" Goldberger, a renowned UC San Diego physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project as a young man and later served as president of Caltech, died of breast cancer in La Jolla on November 26th, his family says. He was 92. Goldberger also was a co-founder of The Jasons, a tiny and mostly secret group of elite scientists who examined provocative ideas, such as whether soldiers could be trained to be less empathetic. Comment?
