    Edwin I. Reini, 85, of Rindge, died on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at the Good Shepherd Healthcare Center after a period of failing health. He was a graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood and earned an associate degree in accounting from Gogebic Community College.

    Gustave Aaro 'Otto' Nurmi

    Born June 6, 1923, in Nestoria, Mich ., a small U.P. railway village, to his father, John Nurmi, a railroad worker and mother, Maria, he was the youngest of nine children. After his father's death in 1929, the family moved to Ironwood 's Norrie Location, where Otto would continue to live for most of his life.
