    Oscar Holderer: last German scientist who came to US...

    Oscar Holderer was the last known survivor of the team of German rocket scientists who moved to America after the Second World War under the leadership of Wernher von Braun, and worked on the Saturn V rocket which launched the crew of Apollo 11 on the first manned space flight to the moon in 1969. When the Allies advanced into Germany during the final days of the war, American and Soviet armies rushed in from opposite directions to grab the spoils of the German rocket program and the scientists who had developed the V-2, the world's first long-range guided ballistic missile.

    William "Justice" Crisp, 49, a resident of Huntsville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Huntsville from natural causes. He was survived by his mother, Repsy Crisp; sister, Joyce Ann Kraner and her husband, Scott; brothers: Robert Crisp, Artie Crisp and Shane Crisp; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews; and one niece.

She went to her Heavenly home on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the age of 76. She attended Roosevelt High School and later graduated from the Dayton School of Practical Nursing as an L.P.N. She was an officer of the Dayton chapter of Licensed Practical Nurses Association of Ohio , and a member of the Dayton Black Nurses Association.
