    A judge says the original casket in which Lee Harvey Oswald was buried belongs to Oswald's brother, not the funeral home that auctioned it off for more than $87,000. Oswald's brother, Robert, had sued Baumgardner Funeral Home after it sold the pine coffin for $87,468 in 2010.

    A 3-month-old boy who died last week was among nine children removed from a North Las Vegas home last month after police said they found them living in squalor. According to an arrest report from North Las Vegas police, Geneva Morgan and Donald Hemmings Jr. were each charged with eight counts of felonious child neglect on Dec. 20, after police entered the filthy home while serving a search warrant nearby in a robbery case.

    Boston police make arrest in slaying of artist

    Roe's body was found in a wooded area of Boston's Roxbury neighborhood on July 13. Although the body showed no obvious signs of trauma, her death was ruled a homicide. According to her obituary, Roe had studied in Boston and Amsterdam and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute.

    The medical examiner has determined that the Quincy woman who died in a hospital two days after a fire ripped through her apartment building died of smoke inhalation. Fifty-six-year-old Joan McIntyre, who was inside her apartment on Jan. 4 when the three-alarm blaze started, died Jan. 6 at Massachusetts General Hospital.

    A 31-year-old Navy SEAL has died after making a hard landing during a skydiving exercise in central Florida. William "Blake" Marston of Concord, New Hampshire, died Saturday morning after landing on the grounds of a DeLand airport, where he was doing the training exercise.

    Police said a neighbor informed a police officer at about 3. a.m. Sunday that she found Linda Cohens lying face down on the sidewalk outside her home in Hamden. Police say Cohens was unresponsive and appeared to have suffered a head injury.
