    Clarence L. Hendrickson

    Clarence L. Hendrickson, 78, of Parkersburg, husband of Carol Conley Hendrickson for 33 years, passed away April 18, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center. Born in Newcomerstown, Ohio, on Dec. 14, 1936, he was a son of the late Ellis and Genivieve Wells Hendrickson.

    A North Carolina state government electrician who died this week after a job-related accident is being remembered by his family and friends. State officials say Rue was setting up an aerial lift Monday morning outside the state archives building in downtown Raleigh when the lift toppled upon him.

    Byron L. Hartzfeld Sr., 67, a Prince George's County sheriff's deputy for nearly two decades, died March 24 at a medical center in Asheville, N.C. The cause was congestive heart failure, said his wife, Victoria Hartzfeld. Mr. Hartzfeld was born in Luthersburg, Pa., and grew up in the District.
