    Funeral Services Set For Rye High Graduate Found Dea...

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday for Marisa Gail Curlen, the 2013 graduate of Rye High School who was found unresponsive in her Virginia sorority bedroom early Friday. An investigation is under way in the cause of death for Miss Curlen, the 20-year-old daughter of Julie A. Curlen of Rye and Steve Curlen of New Rochelle.

    Kenneth Rinehart, 84, of Bunker Hill, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.     Marker Honoring Va. Leader to be Dedicated Saturday

    A state historical marker will be dedicated this week in Harrisonburg in memory of a favorite son who was an African-American religious and educational leader. Born in 1891, Love was a student at Howard University in 1911 when he co-founded Omega Psi Phi, the first fraternity established at a historically black college.

    LaVon W. Kratzer, 66, of Dalton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2015, at his home while working in the yard. He was born in Wooster on May 22, 1948 to the late Loyal and Rosa Kratzer and married Janice Witmer on Nov. 29, 1975.
