    Helen D. (Dye) Crowell

    Helen D. Crowell, 92, of Farrington Hollow Road, Cherry Creek, died Thurs-day, Jan. 22, 2015, at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing, Greenhurst, N.Y. Arrangements are incomplete and a complete obituary will be announced in The Sunday Post-Journal by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.

    Earl G. Town

    Earl G. Town, age 90, a resident of the Chautauqua Nursing & Rehab Center, Dunkirk, formerly of Forestville, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. As per Earl's request, there will be no prior visitation observed and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

    James M. Mulkin

    James was a member of St. Joseph Church, Harley Owners Group , and past member of the American Legion Post 59. Jim enjoyed riding motorcycles, having coffee with his friends, cheering and supporting his grandchildren's activities and taking care of his other "children," his dogs. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Beverley Mulkin; two sons, Kevin Mulkin and Chad Mulkin, both of Fredonia; four grandchildren, Matthew Mulkin, Christopher Mulkin, Jeffrey Mulkin and Elena Mulkin; two great grandchildren, Caden Mulkin and Tenley Mulkin; three brothers, Richard Mulkin of Potsdam, Dennis Mulkin Forestville, and Bruce Mulkin of Fredonia; several nieces and nephews and Dave and Debbie Willey.

    Charles Restivo Jr.

    He was born in Silver Creek on April 4, 1939, the son of the late Charles and Alice Restivo Sr. Mr. Restivo worked for the former C.A. Hackett at Bethlehem Steel Corp. and then worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Benchley Contracting & Rental Equipment Silver Creek, from where he retired. Mr. Restivo was a past member of the Hanover Fish & Game Club, was an avid outdoorsman and a huge Yankees fan.

    Gertrude W. Elias

    Gertrude E. Elias, 95, of Cheektowaga, NY, and formerly of Forestville, NY, passed away Sunday at Absolut Care of Eden. Gertrude and her husband Moxie Elias were the owners and operators of Dailey and Elias Brothers General Store in Smith Mills, NY.

    He was born in Silver Creek on August 5, 1929, the son of the late Anthony and Josephine Grisanti. Mr. Grisanti was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1945.

    David Knupfer

    David was born on Feb. 22, 1959 in Buffalo to Beverly and Richard Knupfer. He graduated from Lake Shore High in 1977.
